On our way to Argentina!

The time has arrived!
We have booked our tickets for Buenos Aires and be leaving South Africa on the 27th Feb. Though our time in South Africa has been wonderful and therapeutic and it's going to be so sad to leave, the opportunity and excitement to go to a new country and experience something different. To learn another language. I'm very happy and can't wait to begin the South American adventure.

Trip to Shelly Beach

What a fantastic time in the south coast of Natal, eastern part of South Africa. Was the first time we went camping together in an isolated area. So much so we where the only people in the campsite for a couple days. Which was great as it gave us time to get creative and jumpstart our writing project.

Here is the link to the album

You know how it is. You love your family an love being with them, especially when the make such good food lie my nonna, but being with the family is also work and time consuming. There where too many distractions and we couldn't get our creative spark to ignite. It's very hot in Pretoria and after a full italian lunch you can't move, let alone focus ;-). So we decided to take a trip before my uncles wedding in Durban on the 26th January. We aimed at the south coast, being cheaper and much fewer people. Well it really paid off. We had such a fantastic time sleeping out in the open right next to a small dam with the soon to be caught bass and a swimming pool at our disposal. I felt very relaxed and recharged and like it was never there my hand and mind where in sync and I was just writing and Rebekka creating wonderfully descriptive passages laying the path for the Book (won't get into detail just yet, all in due time)

hope you like the pics and would love to hear your comments

Another happy Wood wedding

Neil and Megna wedding
Rebekka and I where lucky to be here to go to my uncle Neil and his beautiful wife Megna's wedding in Durban, Natal. It was my first indian wedding and how wonderful it was. Magic decorations accompanied by equally spicy food :) Neil also honoured us by asking us to bring forth the rings to the ceremonial area on stage. I luckily was wearing my usual relaxed, cotton guru look garments and fit right in with the ornate and spiritually decorative attire of my family.

Many wonderful things to you both.
